General Partitions will be forced to implement a modest price increase for a few of our product lines. We are looking at a 3% increase for Powder Coated Steel and Stainless Steel. Also, there will be a 5% increase on Plastic Laminate. A global tariff of 25% on steel and 10% on aluminum was imposed on March 8, 2018. Unfortunately, domestic suppliers chose to increase their prices the same amount. We have also had other raw material prices rise, which has led us to this modest increase.
The price increase will go into effect June 19, 2018. We will honor any quotes for 30 days from the proposal date, based on the order shipping within 6 months of the order date. If the quote was run on the configurator, you can reprocess to receive updated pricing. Check with us for an update if it was quoted in house.
